After walking my kids into school the last two weeks, it’s clear that there are a few back to school trends this year including fun zipper pulls on backpacks and metallic tattoos. So many of the girls are sporting these cool jewelry inspired tattoos and Little is positively swooning over them. I went on a hunt for them as I have to admit that I was quite taken with them as well. I found them: Let me introduce you to Flash Tattoos. Now the website pics look a bit mature and inappropriate for kids, but the Chloe collection of tattoos are the ones that I keep seeing on the elementary school kids and they look great and age appropriate in person.
Little’s obsession with them started when she saw a friend of Middle’s wearing this necklace tattoo.
Look how cute these bracelet tattoos are!
They truly do look like necklaces and bracelets and best of all they’re not actually valuable jewelry. The kids can wear these to school and feel quite fashionable, and yet we don’t have to worry that they’re going to lose a valuable piece or worse that some delicate chain they’re wearing around their neck is going to get caught on something during gym class or recess. These are the perfect accessories for serious (and not so serious) fashionistas.
They come in packs of 4 sheets allowing for lots of fun combinations.
These will make for great birthday presents and holiday gifts! You can buy them online here. Or Chicago’s best tween store, Frankie’s on the Park, also has some great tattoo bling that I just discovered. Check it out on their website.
